The Clearfield County Election and Voter Registration Office is located on the first floor of the Courthouse Annex. The Election and Voter Registration Office is responsible for maintaining records of all legally registered voters within Clearfield County. The office also is responsible for supervising the Primary and General Elections held every year. This is the office a person would visit if they were interested in registering to vote or if they are interested in becoming a candidate for elective office. Register to Vote

Registration forms are available at the Clearfield County Election Office, post offices, municipal offices and libraries, or you may use the Registration Form found on this website, or at the Pennsylvania Department of State Website, VotesPA.com. Mail the completed registration form to the address above.

Absentee Ballots

To be in compliance with the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), a copy of a photo ID is REQUIRED for all absentee voters who are voting for the first time. Following are the acceptable forms of photo ID:

      o PA license or ID card photo
      o Employee photo ID
      o US Passport
      o ID issued by US Government
      o US Military ID
      o
      Student ID

If applicable, please include a copy of one of the acceptable forms of photo ID listed above with your absentee application to ensure that we are in compliance with HAVA requirements.

An absentee APPLICATION for a registered voter in Clearfield County can be obtained upon request by calling the Clearfield County Election Office at 765-2641 Ext: 5996 or an Absentee Ballot Registration Form may downloaded from this website or at the Pennsylvania Department of State Website, VotesPA.com. Mail the completed registration form to the address above.

NOTE: If you are registered in another county, you must request your application from that county. An absentee ballot will then be mailed to you at the address designated on the application.
