The GIS Department is responsible for coordinating all GIS related services with the County 911 Center, the Assessment Office and County Planning. This office is also responsible for assigning all new address within the county. Any person who is building a new home or establishing a new residence should contact the Clearfield County GIS Department. This department also has GIS data available for public use. During the Primary and General Elections, the Clearfield County GIS Department uses voting information to map election results by each Clearfield County precinct. As returns arrives, the GIS Department updates online map images showing general overview maps of results for different races throughout the County; individual map images with results for each precinct as they are returned; and maps showing voting distribution for each precinct.This mapping helps illustrate voting patterns to give voters and elected officials a new perspective on Clearfield County elections.
